The last couple of weeks has been humbling, to say the least seeing many of our Alumni at the peak of their growth journey. From massive mindset transformations, confidence, landing new roles to launching their first products as diverse teams.

It is hard to believe how much 10 weeks can do for you if you are open to it. Yes, the 10 weeks is intense, but we also believe the biggest growth happens when you are uncomfortable.

The following quote (source unknown) truly symbolizes the feeling:

"If everything is too good, you’re probably stuck not being awesome. Don’t join an “easy” crowd. You won’t grow. Many people are so comfortable they’re miserable. Breaking a habit, trying something new, taking a risk, making new connections, or putting yourself in a totally new situation won’t be easy, but it’s worth it. It’s exhausting but rewarding." This is exactly the story of Gordon Ruby, our recent alum whose dreams to transition into product is getting stronger by the day. He recently said, "It feels just incredible to finally write something like this about my product journey over the last 2 years! 🔥🔥 It took 8 years in Tech to get to this place. 🗻".

Gordon's story is one of determination and a growth mindset that Hiring Managers look for in their product managers. He gave it his all and you can read his inspirational journey below. His learnings are powerful for anyone interested to transition into Product as well as a great reminder for anyone in product. We are so proud of you Gordon!
